This is the same % as Jay played last year. He did average closer to 28/29
minutes in the last several games. If Papi and Kadin can produce - not just spell Jay for a couple minutes or so - then Jay doesn't have to play 30 min (75%) every game. Will also be interesting to see if Kadin is quick enough to be an option at 4.
I can't see predicting the starters all get 30 to 32 minutes apiece, particularly with the depth of talent and Tony's practice of spreading minutes out. Hoos have several players who need PT to get them up to speed in the college game - Kadin, Papi (still), JAR, McKoy and Beekman. Giving them time will reduce Kihei and Jay's PT but its for the long term good.
