Re: Northwestern last year: 3-9 (1-8 in Big 10!). This year: 5-0. Go figure

Everything that could have gone wrong last year for Northwestern went wrong. Lots of injuries and especially on Offense they lost all thier firepower.
This year they bring in a veteran transfer QB with B1G experience and get back their Top guys who were out and they play like contenders.
I think they're an example of what can happen when the injury bug depletes your Roster. Alabama and Ohio State can plug and play when that happens . Most Programs cannot. The other factor is QB play. Last year QB play was awful and they were depleted at Running Back. This year both positions are a strength. They may have the best Defense in The B1G
Not sure they can beat Ohio State but they proved yesterday they're for real and they may be a handful for OSU.
