Agree with Haney. I suspect most schools won't be able to or won't choose
to fund many of the extra eligibility year scholarships.
I suspect that players at the level of Hauser or Huff to be gone in order to start earning $ playing basketball.
If there are players on the fringe of pro ball or on the fringe of a well-paying professional job otherwise, those players may be exceptions where weighing the value of a Master's Degree vs. moving on could be evaluated from both the program and personal standpoint. I'm thinking players like Nash Griffin or someone equivalent to say Will Sherrill.
