with the cities themselves, their history, etc.

This whole thing is a farce. Talk about "if it ain't broke don't fix it" -- this is Exhibit A. I really hate Rob Manfred. You'd think MLB would have learned its lesson in 1994. But they're at it again. Expect the next CBA negotiations to get absolutely nasty, now that MLB has basically slashed 1/4 of the minor leagues in one fell swoop.
