Watching from a far, it's a preview of playing in a high D1 college program. They have some heavily recruited / full ride players that get some benefit of chances to establish their worth and draft position. However, the school has 2 National teams and something like 6-8 other varsity teams plus a JV and Freshman squad. In the end the team plays to win. 2019 was an overall National HS title year. 2020 was shaping up well with some top FL wins but they don't schedule cupcakes. They are the evil empire and take everyone's best shot so if you don't cut it as a player you move down. You can't recruit in FL and nationally if you don't win. Every year in every sport they get kids that come down, realize its more than they bargained for in the biggest of big ponds and go back home.
