Sources are WaPost and MSNBC consultant who is Director of Infectious Disease Dept. at Baylor Med, a great med school. He's bullish on the efficacy of the vaccines (and the 3rd one), but we didn't order enough before other countries signed contracts with the Pharma companies. Plus, polls showing only half the population willing to get a vaccine, not enough for "herd immunity" of the positive meaning of the phrase. Having said all this, I think college students should be pretty high on the list of those vaccinated, since they're inevitably "super spreaders" now, yet absolutely need to learn what independent life and making choices is all about on a campus, including having fun in the best environment for their formative age, not just hit the books on Zoom. I feel strongly about that.
