I'm surprised MLL lasted as long as it did. I have little knowledge about how businesses work, but from the onset it seemed that Rabil had come up with a more sustainable model than the MLL. There will be fewer players overall after the merger, but those who make the PLL will receive better pay and benefits than the MLL offered. While I don't really have much interest one way or another in pro--really semi-pro--lax, it's nice to see a model that rewards labor to a greater degree prevail over one that favored management.
