There’s usually a reason...in this case it’s injuries


I have no idea where Carter was ranked but there’s a point( if you saw her pre-college), that you know if she’s chosen the right school and is healthy that she’s not coming off the bench.
There are so many variables that play into a kids development at the next level. Choice of school, injuries, roster make-up, system, love of game, team needs...
.Meg Walker and Lauren Cox are examples of kids ranked #1 that didn’t start out the gate. But there were reasons. Sam is a very good player and can become a pro like Cox and Walker did.
