Well, last year, we had 3 OOC weekends and 10 ACC weekends, plus the
exam break. So if we followed that schedule, we'd only have 1 OOC weekend and the rest would all be midweek games. And UConn is already scheduled for opening weekend in Charlottesville, if that holds.
We will have to see what other conferences -- particularly the CAA and A10 -- do, as their plans will affect our ability to schedule home midweek games. (e.g., if the CAA cancels the OOC slate like the B1G, we wouldn't get JMU, W&M, or Towson, and if the A10 cancels OOC, we would lose ability to schedule w/ GMU, VCU, and Richmond)
I would anticipate a lot of coaches leaving midweek slots late in the season open for rescheduled or additional games to compensate for any lost to COVID. And hopefully by tourney time the team will be vaccinated.
