The pandemic couldn't have come at a worse time for Ricketts.

He's over leverage and exposed in sports and hotel/leisure ... while starting up his Cubs network on his own (limited content). I'm no Ricketts fan but luck was definitely not on his side. He must be having liquidity issues. Chicago is turning on him quickly. This is Reinsdorf's chance to take Chicago. He needs to win and get Chicago to invest around Comiskey.

It's the first time I get the feeling Chicagoans looking for a reason to dump the Cubs.
