and not things around the stadium etc....They should have bought up all the property early as they did but only develop it cautiously over time. No need to renovate the stadium, build hotels, build an office building etc all at once.

Heard on the radio that there issue with the debt isn't the debt as much as the interest rate they got for the cubs and the Wrigley and Wrigley Ville development. Mark Cuban got turned down because he wanted a discount because of the high interest rates the banks were handing out at the time.....

They also got a lot of Chicagoans to hate them because of their family policies and political allegiances.
