Nice chart

I agree with it for the most part. One thing I see is that just looking at the roster if UVA can stay relatively healthy there is a lot of good depth all of the place. The questions marks come in at RB, LB, and DB.

Obviously unless someone comes out performing like Tiki Barber in the Spring/Summer Wayne is probably going to start out the year as the starting TB. The guy is a hard worker and he has a role, but I think ultimately you'd like him as a key back up who can spell your starter. It'll be interesting to see what Hollins looks like when he returns and of course all eyes have to be on the freshman. The wild card has to be Ronnie Walker, the former 4* transfer never seemed to get on track during the year after the NCAA delay that was forced on him. Still he has had time to learn the playbook and his teammates.

Hard to see Woods not starting. Misch's time will come, but the big transfer looks very similar to how Poljan looked when he transferred in. The DL rotation is similar. I'm not sure when the guys who opted out of last season are due to come back, but if he returns for winter conditioning and there's a Spring as well as Atariwa and Alonso played at times Faumui's return makes things interesting. And of course there are the young fella's. Going to be hard to keep Carter off the field obviously it won't happen immediately, but by the middle of the year he's probably taking someone's job.

Linebacker is interesting. The two you know of course are Jackson and Taylor. Jackson if he improves in coverage should be All-ACC and a contender for some hardware at the end of the year. Taylor struggled some but if things return to normal he should experience a resurgence and move up draft boards in 2022, hopefully he gets bigger and stronger this off-season. Looking opposite Taylor Elliot Brown has huge incentive to get bigger and stronger as this is his shot to shine. However, I think D'Sean Perry made some plays in a reserve role. What's going to be interesting is seeing where some young talented players slot like Brandon Williams and Jonathan Horton.

As for the DB's I think the key to a better year is if Cross returns and stays at a Safety spot and if Bratton can stay healthy. The incoming transfer makes things interesting but if he's healthy Bratton can be a pretty good corner. Grant had a rough year, but it was actually proven to be better than it looked. The wild card for me is the Freshman mid year enrollee Javin Burke. His speed and size at corner could make a difference. There are some other young DB's that I hope will make a jump this off-season and challenge for spots but if healthy with Cross at Safety I think the rest of the defense is good enough that the defense could win a few games next season.
