If you put a Saban or Dabo at Oregon, you don't think they'd be able to recruit there? Or at USC or Texas? They'd still dominate if you were going to move them somewhere like that Similarly, you remove Saban and Dabo from their respective schools, they could easily slide back to what they were before - so that levels the playing field right there. Clemson only finished in the top 10 like 2-3 times in 2 decades before Dabo. Bama had 4 top ten finished under the 4 prior coaches before Saban across multiple decades. No natties.

And FSU has proven under multiple coaches they have the resources to recruit and win natties... given the right coach.
