It's a more dynamic, more entertaining, more revenue-generating sport and
on top of it the CTE/concussion issues alone are sufficient to justify some of the offense-favoring rule changes we've seen. Personally have little interest in watching boring AF "old school football" where the final score is 10-3 and most viewers agree. So no. What has happened instead is coaches like Saban have adjusted their style of play to win in the modern game, whereas some stubborn old farts like Les Miles have refused to (and been shit-canned accordingly).
