screens in airport departure lounges for years, but prez Jeff Zucker announced today CNN is shutting down the network. He says airport usage has dropped dramatically due too covid, so many fewer eyes are on those screens, and that people are getting their news way more from their devices other than TV. So apparently the expense to CNN isn't worth it. Still, airport travel surely will pick up, & it would seem to be a big thing for CNN to have that captive audience at every one of the country's biggest airports....we've all seen it. I'm just surprised they'd give that up.
