CNN really is such a disgrace. Sad really because for years it was a

sanctuary of sorts: CNN at the airport and more importantly, CNN International in hotels where, back in the 90's and early 2000's, it was likely to be the only English speaking network even in European capitals. Checking into or arriving back at the hotel was always comforting when CNNI was offered. I remember one trip in particular where I took a train from Prague to Budapest and arrived at some sketchy Pension and was absolutely over the moon to find that somehow this place had CNNI - a bit of home in a foreign place. Even more surprising on that occasion was that they were interviewing Manoli Loupassi for some reason - a classmate of mine and then politician in RIC - to say the least it made me feel closer to home.

Now its networks - even CNNI - are unwatchable. It is a total hack company with no intent on delivering news, only propagating the views of its head and talking heads. That makes CNN like pretty much all US "news" networks, but this one particularly stings for me for the reasons I outlined above.
