The 14 day case totals in the Richmond area are increasing RAPIDLY!!!! Hanover county has gone from approx 550 cases (14 day total) to 1125 (14 day total) in less than 10 days. For context, that's a county of 108k that isn't as densely populated as the City of Richmond, alot of folks are working from home and schools are open. Some testing locations are also telling folks locally to not bother to get tested if someone else in your household tests positive. Just assume you have it. Kids are back playing sports, in winter workouts for baseball/softball and doing conditioning for other sports. Contact tracing isn't locating sources for a good percentage of cases. One fortunate thing is that the county does not have a high percentage of three generation homes. While I think in person school is great, Hanover should be looking at a two week cooling off period. Herd immunity can't be far away here.
