If the 10 y.o. is in 4th grade, you can get a free national parks pass

it's a great idea - we did it for my older one, and will do again for younger. A free national parks pass, good for admission to any national park. One thing to keep in mind - a couple of years ago, we were required to have a hard copy. That may have changed. Have a great trip.
