He’s a great evaluator, but also he’s a great developer of PG talent...
A large reason we’ve been so successful as a program is because of how our PG’s have progressively gotten better over the course of their careers. London, Ty, and now Kihei all had holes in their game that were eventually fixed by their junior year, and all had strengths that were both fine tuned and expanded upon. Compare that to a coach like Keatts who recruits great guards but never develops them past their freshman year form. Bennett just knows how to get the most out of the guys that stick around.
