Truth is my bar is high...Those schools were probably fishing as well..
Schools like Michigan get interested early and move on if prospect isn't moving in the right direction. They have too many other options/prospects to consider . You have to be special for them to keep hanging around. What seems to have happened in the past is that UVA has been the best option on the table.
It's not just about throwing out offers to see what sticks..UVA should be recruiting "UVA" kids. Whatever that is. Is a Louisville kid a UVA kid? Maybe, but PROBABLY not. When you consider the UVA transfers that have transpired and the skill level of recent prospects, something was obviously wrong in the selection process.
