Some of it may be Carla's pride. It's a huge embarrassment to have to admit

to such a colossal hiring mistake---after all, if there was one coaching hire Ms. Williams appeared qualified to make, it's the women's basketball coach. And, so far, it appears to be a disaster of a hire. Obviously there's always the chance that there could be a miraculous turnaround & TT could save the day & wipe away all that egg that Carla has on her face right now. We can all hope----most of all Carla Williams, who must be still be praying that she can be saved from having the legacy of having tanked our women's basketball program to depths it has never reached before.
