QBR was the only thing Trubisky was top 20 in

He wasn't asked to do very much, and the league knows he can't/won't challenge you down field. It's a stat, but not a very good one. He's a great deal as a backup though, because of his running ability.

I suspect Darnold is getting graded on a curve--right or wrong--because of his near league worst OL, league worst RBs, league worst WRs, and no-name TEs. Plus a lame duck coach that most thought to be a joke. It's hard to overstate how abysmal the Jets rosters have been.

Carolina is better across the board on offense (in terms of talent), so Darnold either beats out Bridgewater, cuts down the TOs and shows why he was the #3 pick...or we finally find out if he's a bum that doesn't game manage and turns it over a ton.
