I just checked my bank account, and $1,400 appeared from the government. To

be honest, it’s not going to change one thing I do, or the way I live. First of all, I am not wealthy by any standard. I’m retired, single and can make it with some small inheritance from my parents and Social Security. I really don’t think I need this payment. There are a lot if people who do, though. Some non-profit will enjoy it, I hope. Pretty much a waste, IMO. Just saying, and nuke this if it’s not appropriate for The Corner.
