WFH is going to have uneven benefits and costs

Some industries probably should have been more WFH all along, and this pandemic gave them the push to make that part of the new normal. Tele-health to me is a prime example. A lot of the financial and banking sector as well.

Others are going to hurt, especially those that require a lot of on-the-job mentoring or osmosis to train young practitioners. Entirely new work flows would need to be designed so that people can execute and train new people in their jobs via screens. That is hard so a lot of that never got done, but in some industries there would be clear benefits to doing so.
