Watching US sports now can be painful for me now

Granted, I live across the pond, so I am watching soccer, with a little dash of rugby here and there. But we will still fire up the ESPN app to watch UVA hoops/football or NFL games, but man alive it is torture to sit through the commercials now that we have been conditioned to watch non-stop sports for say 45 minute spurts. Its great. Cricket actually takes breaks, which is intersting.

But its gotten to the point that my son goes crazy about it. I think i read the stat that the average NFL player runs something like 1 mile per game, for less than 10 minutes? Vs. a EPL midfielder will run for 6-8 miles in a 90 minute game.
