My company wouldn't have hired last year and this year if we weren't in the


office. No way to get to know people and no way to train them. If they're already trained and can do their jobs with minimal supervision, that's one thing -- but it's almost impossible to know how new folks are doing if you don't see them in the office.

Again, though, I think that varies by industry - I'm sure there are industries where they have mastered online training. Extremely difficult for law firms, though, especially when you do hands-on work like commercial real estate.
