That is what I suspect, but I can't find any confirmation


It just makes no sense to spend that much money on facilities, coaches, etc. without any real prospect of media or ticket revenue to make up for it.

But what there is a huge prospect for is the future earnings of these kids. So the only logical business plan is to have some expectation of tapping into those future earnings. I am thinking more like what Bolletieri did in tennis which was later bought out by IMG. Develop young prodigies and get your money back by being their handlers during their early pro years.

The Schwimer case seemed more like loan-sharking rather than a residential development facility.
