We'll agree to disagree on that point. I think Joe had a really bad game

last night. He did not excel in any phase of the game offensively, except for avoiding turnovers. (He had none.) He shot 1-11 (incl. 1-7 on 3s), had 1 offensive rebound & 1 assist. He missed a wide open jumper from the elbow (about 16-18 feet) with less than 3 minutes to play, when the game was tied. And as I recall, he even had trouble catching the ball on at least one occasion.

On D, he was beaten a lot, although once he was unlucky, when the Bucks shot an air ball on a 3. He had blocked out his guy underneath, but the awful shot went straight to Joe's guy. It reminded me of the Duke game at Cameron when we were up at the very end & a Duke air ball went straight to a Duke player who would never gotten the rebound had the ball hit the rim or even the backboard.

Joe managed to get 3 defensive rebounds last night, but he also committed 6 fouls.

Joe's energy level last night seemed really low to me. He went for several loose balls & never came up with a single one.

And although it's a bad statistic, Joe's point differential was -11, the worst of any player on the floor.

One game is only one game, but Joe needs to look in the mirror & to get back to his normal self in the next game.
