Yes. I guess the downside is that it ultimately needs


to be used for education… but I’m considering not drawing from my kids 529s for their college such that they don’t have to worry about saving for their kids’ education.

An HSA is another good vehicle that is triple tax free (pre tax contributions, tax free growth, tax free withdrawals for healthcare). You can save up medical receipts while you’re working (my HSA tool does this for me) then submit for reimbursement later in retirement (or just pay new healthcare costs in retirement)
