Historically, we haven't used scholies for recruiting kickers

but Bronco saw what it was like when he arrived and has changed that strategy. He might revert back to that previous strategy, but right now, he wants a kicker to enter the program.

The spring practice showed us some really good kicking from 40+ yards. Our guys were nailing it, but they weren't doing it with a 240#, 4.4 athlete bearing down on them and the game on the line in front of 50,000 fans.

Bronco offered a scholie to a transfer from UF after watching the futility of our punting during the Spring. He knows that special teams win games. London never grasped that fact.
