Man, great post and story. Miss my grandpa that was a marine


in WWII. Got shot in the chest by a jap sniper (hit his watch and dog tags, still nearly killed him) and was in a jeep with 4/5 others and the only one that lived when a mortar hit the jeep. He was on Saipan and a few others. They gave him orders for Iwo but his commanding officer said Bob you've seen enough. I doubt he would have made it back. Thankful. He is the reason I am a Hoos.
