It will be interesting to see where he plays in our singles

lineup.I would think that BB, JVDS, IM, and CR will be our top 4 in some order with RG at 5/6. Jackson Allen, Gianni Ross, William Woddall, RJ Fresen, and Alexander Kiefer will also be vying for playing time.My guess is that Allen and Ross will play somewhere in our opening singles lineup.

I am looking for another ACC Championship and a deeper run in the NCAA's (final 4 or better seems achievable).

wouldn't be great if we repeated our 2013 and first NCAA championship on the very same courts at the University of Illinois in May, where we edged UCLA 4-3 in the finals in 2013, when Mitchell Frank defeated Marcos Giron (S/B Adrian Puget), but only after Puget had apparently hit the winning championship volley for UCLA, but the chair umpire ruled Giron's foot or leg had touched the net so he awarded the point to Mitchell. This call was very controversial and the UCLA fans and coaches went nuts. I was there, but I could not really tell if he touched the net. If he did it was not obvious to me. Maybe we got a little lucky, but we won, so who cares There obviously was no instant replay. A few points later Frank won and we had our first NCAA tennis championship with 3 more to follow in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
Those were the glory days of men's tennis As I have said before, this was the greatest UVA sports event I have ever seen in person and I have seen some Natties in soccer and LAX and the FSU FB win in 1995.

He's probably named after the country singer Alan Jackson ** -- Hoos in da house 09/21/2021 4:01PM
