The only thing I want is the ball back in play.

Throw in's are one of those "made up things" the game came up with to just try and deal with OOB.

Unless I see some significant material advantage I do not call crap. If the throw in puts the ball at a players feet...mission accomplished. So, two hands, pretty much over the head with feet pretty much on the ground sorta near where it went OOB and I am fine. Now if some player is managing to turn a throw into a cross on goal by whipping it at a 70 degree angle over their head instead of 90ish, I deal with it. A flip throw REQUIRES a player to finish on their feet, not sitting.

Otherwise...dont go looking for trouble, it will find you soon enough. Also, start getting picky about crap and watch how you get badgered about every little nickel and dime BS. That said, at the early stage of play we do want them to learn the correct method, plus you will have parents with their panties twisted about some U10 nail biter.

Additionally, the CR is not to be looking at the throw in, but the action on the field. The throw in is the ARs responsibility and one of the reasons there are no offsides on this restart.

Hope this helps.
