Chilly morning and pot of roasted chicken stock on the stove... ahhhh Fall!


Lil Chef came downstairs and said... Dad, it's a little early for the house to be smelling like Thanksgiving.

No son, it's never too early for that.

Making wild mushroom and bacon risotto with some caramelized butternut squash this weekend. Paired with some some 2007 and 2008 Barolos that are eating a hole in my cellar.

I love Fall. Happy October everyone.
