- LaSalla was the player of the game. I don’t think he took more than 25 (Maybe less) face-offs and I’m guessing he was 50% but scored 3 goals and one assist. First goal off the opening draw he won it cleanly and went straight to the goal and was collapsed by 4 Lehigh defenders, had his back to the goal and back-handed shovel shot into the net. Won another and went behind the back to wide open Moore for an easy finish. On another he posted up on the crease and caught a bullet from Wayer and finished. Kid is a weapon.
- thought we moved and shared the ball nicely but we struggled getting it past Spence their goalie in the 6v6. He made a myriad of high quality saves or we would have surely had another 3-4 goals although we were an absolute terror on the ride, riding it back or having them turn it over numerous times. The pressure in the middle of the field was intense.
- the first years that stood out were Shutz, Nunes, Fulton, Chizmar. Shutz just seems to be able to do it all and ran with the 1st midfield. He was denied a couple of nice looks but had a goal and an assist and made all sorts of plays- off the ground, run out, riding etc. Nunes played 2nd half and is solid, he seems to give up some easier ones but makes up for it with some unexpected ones. His outlet passing is fantastic, Chizmar ran with Salade as the first ssdm duo and he looked really good. He has good size, speed and can handle his stick. Fulton looks like his is the 4th pole at close and got plenty of time with the 1s. He is another monster at 6’6”
- We got good production from our midfield and it was nice to see Kumar with a couple of goals but we are razor thin at midfield. Garno didn’t play or dress but I think he was running on the sideline so hopefully something minor and he is back soon. Good thing Regan Quinn stuck around as we have little room for error.
- I though Bobby Gavin played really well. He is a good stopper, clears well and just seems to be a cool customer.
- Braun took the balance of the face-offs and Mitch Whalen took a few. Braun seems to be quick and can get it out but he plays with one hand on his stick way too often and he had it taken away or failed to pick up a gb he should have controlled way too often. We need to add depth here. Lehigh had 4 FO guys and PSU had 4 or 5.
- for whatever reason our 1s did not play against PSU…assume theirs didn’t either but I did not pay that much attention to their roster or really know it that well anyway.
- sure there is more but all for now.

Scoring and starting lines in post below.
