While I have no idea of how financing works in the media world...


I have always wondered why the ACC hasn't taken a different approach within its footprint. With the move from analog to digital broadcasting, every television station within my market now has multiple sub-channels. The number of those sub-channels has continued to grow since the change. You would think that the ACC would consider launching its own broadcast channel within its footprint exploiting the new digital protocol. Certainly, within Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, & Virginia there is a potential audience. I can see some of the newer markets being problematic, but they can be served as they are now by cable or streaming services, and, of course, the cable/streaming services serve the far flung alumni of all the schools. Just wondering...
