Big issue remains - the "top" recruits being a yr older than their "peers"


If a rising junior is already 18, and has "proven" himself against either kids a year younger, or as "wow that sophomore can compete with the Jr/Srs - it is a lie. The kid who grows 2 more inches as a junior or senior and adds 50 pounds of muscle has a lot of upside.

Did our staff make a run at some of these guys and miss? I assume so. But maybe they weren't that impressed. We don't know.

What we do know, is that with extreme regularity, the "top ranked kids of the recruiting class" (at this point in time for the 23's) usually has a hit rate of about a 10%....

I'm just saying.....
