He is anti-'getting vaxxed'. That sounds anti-vax to me.


He could get vaccinated and still be against vaccination mandates. He could get vaxxed, play, and donate all his salary to a relief fund for those who lost their jobs to avoid vaccination, for instance.

It seems to me the person he is most against being mandated is Kyrie Irving. If someone's actions can be interpreted as self-serving, and this person has a long history of doing self-serving things, it is easiest to just assume he has not changed.

He does not want to get vaxxed, period. So much that he is willing to give up $16M. Everything else is just window dressing to explain that decision in the way he thinks will be most palatable.

He is free to refuse the vaccine, of course. And I am free to assume this decision is 100% about Kyrie and 0% about others.
