Hoo TV Guide - TV & Radio Coverage for our Football Game (link)

The “Hoo TV Guide” linked below is to the WHOLE thing.

Our Homecomings game is Saturday 10/16 vs. Duke on ACC RSN TV affiliates starting at 12:30 PM ET.

See "2021 Football RSN Affiliates: Duke at Virginia" at:

and check your local ACC RSN TV affiliate(s)' listings.

You'll also need to check your local ACC RSN TV affiliate(s)' listings for replays, e.g., for the Verizon FiOS TV in the DC area, MASN/MASN2 and YES Network (subject to change):

MASN Mon 10/18 11:00a-02:30p ET
MASN Tue 10/19 06:30p-10:00p ET

Conventional streaming:

- WatchESPN

For those with access to ESPN, a live ESPN3 stream (yes, ESPN3, not ACCNX) is also available, subject to blackout where it's being carried on an ACC RSN TV affiliate.

Blackouts can be gotten around though.

See "How to Get Around WatchESPN Regional Blackouts" at:

There's a totally legal, free, safe, robust, standard definition (640x360) USTVGO YES Network stream available. Just no sketchiness whatsoever. The YES Network is the only ACC RSN TV affiliate offered by USTVGO, but it's one that often carried our games. Several of the other unrestricted channels are channels that our games are often carried on, including the ACC Network, so it's well worth checking out.

For more info, see

Unconventional streaming alternatives:

As always, the docs linked below should be considered continuous works in-progress.

- Hoo TV Value-added Grandma Streams

Grandma has abandoned Twitter after multiple, multiple account suspensions and uses a forum system now.

Grandma has gone premium, but still provides free 24/7 streams for sports-oriented and national network TV channels, just not very reliably. Grandma's premium streams get much more attention that the free streams, but some free streams do still exist, although they're often co-opted for other purposes, like to show the Tennis Channel on the ACC Network stream link, like it is now. Granny's streams are not an option for ACC RSN TV games anyway.

I try to maintain what free Grandma Streams are available/working. as well as their underlying HLS/M3U8 stream URLs (for direct viewing) in the "Hoo TV Value-added Grandma Streams" at:

- Hoo TV Value-added Subscriber Recommended Streams

After our Miami game, the and sites just *poof* disappeared. There's still no word on a replacement site for, but is in the process of being resurrected as and (alias? fallback mirror site?).

Our game is being carried on both NESN and the YES Network.

Visit the linked document and go to the section on "ACC RSN TV Affiliates" (the clickable Table of Contents is the fastest way), where you will find links for both NESN and the YES Network streams that should be viewable by anyone anywhere in the world.

- Hoo TV Value-added Sportsurge

Sportsurge will have many streams for each CFB game).

The streams may not be available, however, at least via the web site links, until maybe just an hour or so before game time.

Note that for 24/7 linear TV channel games, the streams will continue to work indefinitely after the conclusion of the games. So if you can use the current game to access that linear TV channel's 24/7 stream.

Many of the streams are probably also viewable by anyone anywhere in the world.

I’m guessing (all times ET):

Cavalier Countdown at 9:30a
Wahoo Football Walkthrough at 11:00a
Countdown to Kickoff Pregame Show at 11:30a
Game at 12:30p

WINA 1070-AM and 98.9-FM – "Listen Live":

or TuneIn:

SiriusXM: Sirius 135 • XM/SXM 193 • Internet 955

For home games, the live Scott Stadium delay-free radio feed is 91.5 FM, the same for all UVa home game venues.

Cavaliers All-Access doesn't to exist anymore, so neither does its archive of past Virginia Sports Radio Network broadcasts. Bummer! Squeaky wheels need to hammer UVa's oblivious, tone-deaf athletics department and get this corrected.

It looked, at least, like there might be something forthcoming at:

where you'll find a "LISTEN LIVE" link to a stream player (ignore whatever game it says it is because it's actually just a live stream of WINA).

This is also where you'll find links to FOOTBALL and MEN'S BASKETBALL clearly intended to contain past broadcasts, however, the FOOTBALL only contains postgame shows for this year's games.

The collection of archived MBB games is also very spotty.

I try to record and archive the Virginia Sports Radio Network broadcasts of our games, including the pre and post game shows. I've been doing this for a while now. These are what I use to create audio tracks synced to the video coverage of some games.
