Okay so several years ago one of my 4 legged girls

started developing a urinary incontinence problem. She wanted to go out 10-15 times a day and would do a dribble and come in. Went to vet and did a checkup and blood work and found nothing. Took her home and next day she piddled in house which she had never done even when we house trained her. Back to vet for XRays and found the culprits. Her bladder was filled with what surgery proved to be 3 lbs of bladder stones - see pic- . Took them out, sent some to University of Minnesota for analysis and were told to switch to a low acidic, but very expensive, feed.
So, 5 years later and no bladder problems but now her feed is twice that of her plebeian buddy Sophie.
So, took Layla to the side a few weeks ago to inform her of cost increases and that she needed to start contributing to the cost . This is what we came up with. And the old adage is true: Hard to teach an old dog new tricks.😂😂😂😂
