I just cannot imagine CTB as an NBA coach. Everything about that league is

anathema to him. He won’t coddle players, and NBA players expect and demand to be coddled.
He won’t tolerate players who don’t hustle, and I watched Labron (really, a great player) last night not even attempt to leave the backcourt on one transition play. I could go on and on, because there are dozens of areas where CTB and the pros part company.
About the only incentive Tony might have would be, as some posters suggest, to challenge himself to see if he could win “at the highest level”. Then they note that he played successfully in the league. But I give credit to CTB as being smarter than that, and recognizing that coaching in the NBA would quickly give him an ulcer.
His family won’t allow him to do it, anyway. They are pretty smart, too!
