My sense is the staff was focused on a few prospects over the last 6

Weeks through some really competitive fall events. Derringer was an NLF top 30 player as of March 2021 and received some accolades at virtually every event he has participated in. He may not be the prototypical ACC attackman but neither was Lavs or Chris Gray for that matter. Pisani is more in the mold but apparently reclassed and had significant ACC interest. Time will tell but seems like 2 solid pickups for the Hoos.
