I have a view that the 2023 class evaluations are pretty unreliable.

I trust our staff knows what the right ingredients are. If Kirwan thinks this guy can really play, I’ll book it. This is a class with pretty thin evaluations set over the last 2 years. My guess is it will be the first class in many years where 10-20 guys will work out as the top players without being ranked high or at all as sophomores/rising juniors. The distinction between this guy + Pisani & several of the Duke & Yale top ranked commits in the 2023 class is not something I can see. Best film I’ve seen on a 2023 longpole D guy is the kid from Richmond who committed to us. He wasn’t rated tops & that’s not credible based on what I see. That kid will see the field right away & will be All-ACC more than once.
