three UVA wrestlers- Kyren Butler 65kg, Justin McCoy 74kg and Justin Phillips 79kg were crowned All Americans in freestyle wrestling at the U23 World Team Trials in Geneva, Ohio. This is a huge accomplishment in wrestling. Each wrestler had approximately 100 wrestlers in their bracket and finished top eight to earn All American status. Also Coach Garland is bringing in a top 10 recruiting class this fall. Wrestling is on the rise. Hope more information about the wrestling team finds its way on the pages of the sabre.
