In the current operating environment, very few players benefit from rotting on the bench waiting their turn. It makes absolutely no sense from a player development standpoint. The idea that a college basketball program whose objective is winning championships is also the place to learn remedial basketball skills is ludicrous. We need to stop bringing in projects. It isn't working.

Put it this way, I feel much better about pretty much any of the transfers we have brought in than pretty much any of the projects we have recruited over the last five years. Devon Hall graduated five years ago. The only other one I feel good about in recent memory is Huff and I don't think he would have stayed for five years in the current environment.
