We have baseball players good enough to get drafted and leave. It seems they don't do this unless they are high draft round guys who would be offered a lot to leave. I'm not getting this soccer thing. If I kid didn't make All-ACC and All-America, I'm guessing it is not the case the money is very compelling to leave. Can't these players just develop in college until they are ready and have the leverage to make a bigger splash? Or if the college game can't provide that, why would they go to college at all? Soccer is in an odd place.
