Soccer players also tend to peak much earlier.

The prime age for baseball players tend to be 27-32. By the time a soccer player reaches 27-28, it feels like they are on the downside of their careers (at least overseas). There appears to be a bigger sense of urgency in soccer. Also, college baseball has come a long way. The development in college baseball is equivalent to high single A baseball nowadays.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
