Don't forget that for the first time, the Hoos have two 1st years make the
ACC freshman team. In addition to being a very young team, the Hoos lacked that little edge that comes from not having a really dominant player that teams like ND and UConn have. Once a team is "king of the mountain," it's easier to recruit those players. It takes someone who has the courage to blaze their own path, and go to a team that isn't in the top echelon. I think the players Boyle has now is close, but lacking a few pieces; one is a strong point guard, second is more experience, and finally the development of Aiyeotan.
