To those advocating a TO in OT, does this enter your calculation?

Caracaterra said that Perkovic didn't substitute out and was now going to have to play defense. He made it a point to say that if Lars called the TO, then ND substitutes an SSDM in for Perkovic. Luk made a bad pass due to a superb, textbook stick check by his defender. That could have happened in subsequent play, even after the TO. (Probable post by someone in response - "We wasted the TO for that?!?!?!?!?!?!")

In that situation: we weren't in trouble; Perkovic was going to have to cover someone one-on-one or set up a bad slide/switch by another defender trying to get him out of trouble; and, I assume, the coaches had told the offense what to do in the huddle before the OT FO. Why would the TO have made the difference? Because "everyone" calls the TO there?

I'm just as tired of losing these games as everyone else and I think it's clouding our judgement.
