The solution to the Men's Swimming program...

I figured it out everyone!!

After much thought, and countless sleepless nights sine the NCAA meet (even though its been 5 nights) I have come up with the solution.

The NCAA has become stupidly fast, like to the point where unless we recruit one of the top 5 guys in a given year and get lucky enough to where he can continue to improve, we will not take the next step forward. So, our options are to compete with the likes of Texas, Cal and somewhat NCState now (although, NCState will get the good swimmers who cant get into UVA, Cal, Stanford, Michigan, etc and yes, they exist a I remember in my time at UVA that we had several kids come on recruiting trips that we were told by the coaches and administration that even though they made a good fit for the team, that they could not be admitted...and a handful that I remember turning out to be All-Americans and top 3 at NCAAs....)

Anyways, we need to shift our recruiting focus and get someone on the staff who can recruit the BEST, and again, after this past NCAA meet, my suggestions is that we really need to tap into this place:

It hasnt been hit yet by any major program, and if we can just put a jammer them, we could easily pass them off, then we just need to get them to surface by 15m, which might be the challenge.....but if our staff can pull that off, we will take back over the conference, and with 3-5 of them, we should be back in the top 10 of the NCAA. Hell, if Florida and Texas can pull it off, why cant we?
